Uniqlo unveils Gundam 45th anniversary UT graphic tee collection
Featuring designs inspired by The Witch from Mercury, Gundam Seed, and more!
To celebrate the franchise’s 45th anniversary, Uniqlo announced a new Gundam UT graphic tee line, featuring four t-shirts with designs based on selected anime in Gundam’s storied history.
This is not the first time Uniqlo has teamed up with Gundam, as the two iconic Japanese brands have linked up before, with one of their earlier collections dating back to 2019.
Unlike that 2019 collab though, this new collection only features four graphic tees, plus there are no collectible Gunpla to get. Still, this is an exciting collection for Gundam fans as it features illustrations specially drawn by mecha designer Kunio Okawara.
This new UT line features four t-shirts, featuring designs based on The Witch from Mercury, Gundam Seed, and the OG Gundam series; along with a t-shirt featuring a special 45th anniversary Gundam artwork with various mobile suits.
Here’s a rundown of all the designs:
The Uniqlo x Gundam 45th anniversary collection will be released in Japan on April 14, 2025, with each t-shirt priced at JPY 1,990. Meanwhile, the lineup will be released in the Philippines and other select regions in early May 2025. As expected, each t-shirt will be priced at PHP 790 in the Philippines.
Along with this t-shirt collection, Gundam fans can also look forward to the new Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX which will be streamed worldwide on Prime Video.
