HUAWEI is bringing its global ‘Active Rings’ fitness initiative to Manila, partnering with renowned running events organizer RUNRIO. The community run event is setfor June 28 at Block 20, SM Mall of Asia Complex, marking the next major stop in HUAWEI’s worldwide series of high-energy fitness events designed to inspire communities to live healthier lifestyles.
The ‘Active Rings’ campaign represents a fresh take on HUAWEI’s successful ‘Light Up Your Rings’ initiative, centered around the ‘Enjoy Your Moment’ philosophy. The movement redefines how communities connect with their health by inviting people of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels to stay active anywhere, anytime, and anyway—not for perfection, but for joy, consistency, and personal progress.
HUAWEI has already rolled out city-specific workouts in Berlin, Paris, Mexico City, Shenzhen, and Madrid as part of this global movement, with Manila now joining the roster of participating cities.
The Manila event will spotlight HUAWEI’s wearable innovations, particularly the newly-released HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Series. These devices feature smart activity rings designed to motivate users throughout the day to meet their fitness goals. The blue ring reflects users’ movement, the yellow ring tracks workouts or aerobic activities, and the red ring shows calories burned. Each completed ring represents a mini victory, building a sustainable rhythm of movement, strength, and self-care.
During the community run, participants will test HUAWEI’s wearable devices by wearing the smartwatches while running and will be challenged to close out their activity rings during the event. The run serves as more than just a test of endurance—it showcases the unifying spirit of HUAWEI’s ‘Active Rings’ initiative and provides Filipinos an opportunity to join a movement transforming how the world stays active.
