The ConTech Expo 2025 opened yesterday, September 5, and its first day already saw plenty of shoppers flock to SMX to get big deals.
In case you missed it, this tech expo was announced last week, and it’s a big event for tech lovers in Metro Manila. That’s because ConTech features a wide array of deals and discounts for various consumer tech items. Along with big deals, there are also discussions on stage where the latest tech will be showcased.
This event kicked off yesterday, September 5, with representatives from the expo itself joined by brand partners. There, they shared their thoughts on the current PH tech landscape, and highlighted some of the big deals attendees can expect.
Here’s a look at the event space, starting with the eye-catching Switch booth. There, attendees can buy Switch consoles and accessories, with each purchase of a Switch or Switch OLED coming with a free copy of Minecraft. Meanwhile, buyers of a Switch 2 console will get a free Joy-Con racing wheel attachment.
While this game booth got our attention to start, the event also features plenty of other deals, ranging from offers on Skyworth TVs, Philips monitors, DJI cameras, JBL speakers, and even Sihoo office chairs. In particular, the JBL booth was a highlight for many attendees, as even during the first day, plenty of buyers flocked to the booth to get great deals.

ConTech Expo 2025 is happening from September 5-7, 2025, from 11 AM to 8 PM, at Function Room 4 inside the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Walk-in visitors will need to pay only PHP 100 per day to enter, though event entrance is free for those who were able to pre-register beforehand.
