Mercusys recently announced that its MC210 smart indoor camera is now available in the Philippines, with the MC500 outdoor camera also set to be released in the country soon.
The MC210 is designed to give homeowners, especially parents, extra peace of mind. That’s because this camera records at a smooth 30 FPS with up to 10.8x digital zoom, meaning it should work well to keep tabs on a toddler running across the living room, or even a baby in the crib in another room. It also helps that the camera has Smart Detection that alerts parents if their child starts to move or cry and needs attention.
Even users who don’t have kids can benefit, as the MC210 is also made to be a great camera to keep track of furry companions at home. Even if they have a dog that likes to curl up in corners, or a cat who likes nothing more than climbing atop a shelf, the MC210 has a 360° horizontal pan-and-tilt and 114° vertical tilt, meaning it’ll be easy to keep track of pets. Plus, the camera has infrared night vision that automatically activates, with up to 40 feet of clear black-and-white video for nighttime tracking.
Other features of the MC210 include easy connectivity with the Mercusys app, providing instant access to live video, real-time alerts, and full camera control directly from a smartphone. This camera also has customizable block zones, allowing renters to exclude private areas like a desk, closet, or window, so monitoring is secure while still being unobtrusive.
The camera also has two-way audio for users to speak directly with delivery riders on the door remotely. Plus, it has support for up to 512GB of local microSD storage with option cloud storage via Mercusys Camera Care. With this, plenty of footage can be kept, with no worries when it comes to losing important footage.
Along with the MC210, Mercusys is also set to launch the MC500 outdoor camera, featuring up to 1080p full HD video, AI-powered person and motion detection, and color night vision. It also packs an IP65 rating for better protection against the elements. With these, the MC500 is set to be a great camera for security of storefronts, delivery zones, parking areas, and other outdoor locations.
The Mercusys MC210 is now available in the Philippines for PHP 999 on Lazada and Shopee, while the Mercusys MC500 is priced at PHP 1,199.
