HONOR announced a partnership with BYD integrating vehicle connectivity solutions with the automaker’s DiLink smart ecosystem. This collaboration sets to deliver AI-powered mobility experiences for more consumers on a global scale.
The agreement was signed at a ceremony attended by James Li, CEO of HONOR, and Wang Chuanfu, Chairman and President of BYD Group. Fang Fei, President of Products at HONOR, and Yang Dongsheng, Senior Vice President of BYD and President of the Automotive New Technology Research Institute, formalized the partnership representing deeper cooperation in intelligent mobility between the global AI device ecosystem company and the world’s leading new-energy vehicle manufacturer.

The collaboration advances along three strategic pillars. Core technology development focuses on cross-device ecosystem integration, AI agent integration, and high-precision Bluetooth-based car key functionality. Channel ecosystem initiatives establish collaborative models leveraging HONOR’s connected vehicle capabilities and BYD’s intelligent ecosystem to maximize platform interoperability. Joint communications efforts include collaborative marketing, coordinated product launches, and user engagement around key milestones.
The companies first collaborated in 2023, introducing smartphone NFC car keys allowing BYD owners to lock and unlock vehicles using HONOR smartphones. The partnership expanded in 2024 to include in-vehicle fast charging capabilities. In 2025, building on phone-to-car connectivity, DENZA became the first brand adopting HONOR Car Connect, with coverage extending across additional BYD brands to enable seamless cross-device interaction and service continuity.
