Just like that, vivo Philippines wraps up a milestone year, celebrating a decade of operations while expanding its smartphone portfolio. Across flagship, mid-range, and entry-level segments, the brand has experienced a significant amount of success.

“Reaching ten years in the Philippines is a proud moment for vivo,” said Liu Lu, Brand Marketing Director of vivo Philippines. “It’s a testament to the trust our users place in us and the strong community we’ve built together. We are excited to keep delivering innovation that inspires and connects our fans.”

The X Series led the year with multiple flagship launches. The X300 Series positioned itself as the Telephoto King for long-range imaging, while the X200 FE provided compact flagship performance. The X300 Pro featured a 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera, advancing clarity and portrait capabilities. The vivo X Fold5 marked a significant market entry as the brand’s first foldable smartphone introduced in the Philippines, targeting users seeking productivity and portability in premium form factors.

The V Series maintained its dual-device launch tradition while introducing category innovations. The V50 continued signature design and performance standards, while the V60 became the first V Series device with ZEISS-engineered telephoto camera, expanding mid-range portrait and zoom capabilities. Additional V50 Lite and V60 Lite models provided accessible entry points with reliable performance. The Y Series completed the lineup with entry-level devices including the Y04 Series, Y21d, and Y29, emphasizing battery life, durability, and affordable camera features for budget-conscious users.

vivo Philippines strengthened partnerships in 2025, continuing collaboration with NBA Philippines that brought professional players Isaiah Joe and Gary Payton to connect with fans. The company confirmed its 3×3 Basketball Challenge will continue in 2026.

OriginOS 6 arrived on select devices during 2025, introducing interface refinements, smoother navigation, and cross-device collaboration features including NFC-powered One-Tap Transfer. The X300 Series launched with OriginOS 6 pre-installed, while V60 and V50 received system updates.

“OriginOS 6 represents our commitment to making every vivo device smarter, faster, and more intuitive for our users,” said Liu Lu. “We encourage everyone to update their phones and enjoy the seamless experience that brings convenience, creativity, and connectivity to everyday life.”
