ASUS launches Ryzen AI 400-powered Zenbook S16 and Zenbook 14 in the Philippines

These new Zenbooks come with ASUS Lumina OLED displays and on-device AI capabilities.

ASUS today launched the new Zenbook S16 and Zenbook 14 in the Philippines, two laptops that are powered by Ryzen AI 400 Series processors.

Specifically, the new Zenbook S16 (UM5606GA) and Zenbook 14 (UM3406GA) are premium Copilot+ PCs, and both are equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen AI 400 Series processors with up to 50 NPU TOPS of AI performance. Along with great performance and in-device AI processing, these new Zenbooks pack a premium build that’s portable yet durable.

To start, the Zenbook S16 is powered by a Ryzen AI 9 465 processor paired with a CNC-machined 3D vapor chamber that’s up to to 37% larger than previous designs. Thanks to this, the laptop should be able to run productivity apps with ease, all while keeping temperatures down. This is further complemented by a large 83 Wh battery, promising up to 21 hours of productivity use on a single charge.

This laptop also features ASUS’ proprietary Ceraluminum lid, offering a ceramic-like feel while having the durability and lightness of aluminum. The laptop’s EasyLift hinge ensures smooth, stable opening angles with minimal wobble, while its ErgoSense keyboard with dished keycaps should feel great to type on. All of this while measuring just 1.1 cm thin and weighing only 1.5 kg.

For its display, ASUS packed the Zenbook S16 with a 16-inch 3K Lumina OLED touchscreen display, complete with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 500 nits peak brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Thanks to these, the S16’s screen should be a great partner for productivity and movie/series marathons.

To top it all off, the Zenbook S16 has WiFi 7 with ASUS WiFi Master Premium certification, along with a suite of I/O ports. Yes, this laptop has a 3.5mm headphone jack and an SD card reader – no need for dongles.

Next, we have the Zenbook 14. This laptop is even more portable, as it only weighs 1.2 kg and is 14.9 mm thin. Even with how slim and light it is, the Zenbook 14 still promises a great performance, courtesy of the AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor paired with 16GB LPDDR5X memory and 1TB M.2 SSD storage. Battery life also promises to be long as the laptop has a 75 Wh battery, which ASUS says can reach up to 25+ hours of extended unplugged use.

Other notable specs of the laptop include its 14-inch WUXGA ASUS Lumina OLED display (with a 16:10 aspect ratio), an ASUS ErgoSense touchpad, an FHD IR camera enhanced by ASUS AI features, and a full suite of connectivity options.
