LG recently announced that it has partnered with digital art platform Sedition to bring new contemporary artworks to LG Gallery+.
For those unfamiliar, LG Gallery+ is a subscription service that offers a wide array of digital art and video-format works made specifically for LG TVs. With this, LG TV users can enjoy an immersive art experience at home, all while matching the interior design of their room.
As for Sedition, this platform partners directly with contemporary artists and cultural institutions to publish artworks. While there are plenty of art platforms that do the same thing, what makes Sedition unique is that it specializes in artwork that is designed specifically for screens. What’s more, Sedition not only features still photos, but also moving images and technology-led art.
Sedition on Gallery+ gives owners a selection of over 300 digital artworks, all of which are designed to look good on LG TVs. This selection includes an exclusive collection of works by six artists. These include SARES, Diego Castro (M.O.N.O.M.O), Mat Collishaw, Mark Titchner, StudioScheele, and Lindsay Kokoska.
