Tech brand nubia is aggressively expanding its footprint locally, announcing a 15% increase in its retail expansion budget for 2026. This strategic move follows a period of rapid growth, which saw the company’s total retail touchpoints jump from 700 in 2024 to over 1,200 by the end of 2025.
The brand recently marked a significant milestone with the opening of its sixth concept store at SM City Fairview, a location designed to anchor its presence for consumers in Northern Metro Manila and nearby provinces. According to Gavin Lian, Country Head of nubia Philippines, the expansion aims to build a stronger omnichannel presence, making the brand’s lifestyle and gaming devices more accessible to Filipino consumers. The 2026 roadmap sets ambitious targets, including increasing the number of kiosks to 50 and doubling the count of concept stores to 12.
While maintaining a strong focus on Mega Manila corridors like Sta. Mesa and Sucat, the brand is also pushing into Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao with upcoming locations in Davao and Dumaguete. This physical growth is complemented by sustained e-commerce momentum on platforms like TikTok Shop, Shopee, and Lazada, where sales have seen steady growth. To support this expanding user base, nubia has established after-sales drop-off points in all MemoXpress stores nationwide. Looking forward, the brand is set to satisfy local gaming communities with the launch of a new gaming series this March.
