SM Megamall and Toy Kingdom recently announced a Nintendo Pop-Up Store that will open at the Mega Fashion Hall on Saturday, April 10.
This pop-up was announced on the official Toy Kingdom Facebook page. There, details about the pop-up dates and events were revealed. For starters, it will open on April 10 at the Mega Fashion Hall’s event area, and it will be there until April 19, 2026.
One of the highlights of the pop-up is a trial play area of various Nintendo Switch games. It’s not clear if this means the pop-up will feature Switch 2 consoles, though we expect both the OG Switch and Switch 2 to be playable there. As for what games, it’s likely we’ll see Mario games, given that the pop-up’s promotional image features Nintendo’s iconic character, not to mention the giveaways that will be up for grabs are of Mario titles.
By visiting the pop-up, fans can get stickers of Mario Galaxy, Mario Tennis Fever, and Yoshi, along with a Mario sun visor. As a bonus, fans can also enjoy a Mario mascot meet-and-greet from April 11-12 and April 18-19.
This pop-up comes just in time, as the Super Mario Galaxy Movie was recently released in Philippine cinemas. Hopefully though, we see other demos alongside the Mario titles, as the Switch 2 has plenty of notable titles.
