Lenovo powers the 2026 F1 Sim Racing World Championship, expanding its F1 partnership

Lenovo gaming setups will power this year's F1 Sim Racing championship.

Lenovo recently announced the expansion of its partnership with F1, as the brand will power the 2026 F1 Sim Racing World Championship.

The partnership between Lenovo and F1 began back in 2022. In 2024, this was expanded, elevating Lenovo to Global Partner status. Now, the collaboration between Lenovo and the world’s premier motorsport has expanded even more, with the PC tech brand becoming an official supplier of the 2026 F1 Sim Racing World Championship.

For those unfamiliar, the F1 Sim Racing championship was introduced back in 2017 and is played on the official Formula 1 game. For the 2026 season, Lenovo will supply the championship with the Lenovo Legion Tower 5i (30L, 10) and Lenovo Legion Pro 32UD-10 gaming monitors.

The PC and monitor combo was highlighted at the season’s launch at DreamHack Birmingham back in March. The rest of the races on the calendar will continue to use this Lenovo PC and display setup.

Regarding the partnership, Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1, said: “xpanding Formula 1’s collaboration with Lenovo to power the 2026 F1 Sim Racing World Championship marks an exciting step forward in our partnership. Lenovo’s continued commitment to innovation across both virtual and real‑world motorsport makes them the perfect partner to equip the world’s best sim racing talent with first‑class technology and deliver outstanding competition. The fantastic launch at DreamHack Birmingham showcased the impact of pairing elite drivers with Lenovo Legion hardware and set a clear benchmark as the championship continues throughout the season.”
