LG Electronics launches 2026 QNED evo Mini LED TV lineup

LG Electronics is breaking out some massive TVs.

Families are witnessing a massive shift in scale as LG rolls out its new 115-inch QNED evo Mini LED TV online. This flagship model headlines the 2026 QNED evo lineup, which combines ultra-large screen sizes with advanced artificial intelligence to redefine home entertainment. By leveraging over a decade of leadership in OLED technology, the company is integrating its specialized light control capabilities into the QNED series to provide high-quality visuals across displays up to 115 inches. The new lineup is currently launching in Korea, the United States, and European countries, with additional global markets expected to follow throughout the year.

“The 115‑inch QNED TV reflects our commitment to creating shared, immersive viewing experiences,” said Park Hyoung‑sei, president of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “With enhanced Mini LED technology, we are giving sports fans and gamers even more reason to embrace ultra‑large screens.”

At the heart of the experience is the α (Alpha) 8 AI Processor Gen 3, which powers a suite of intelligent image and sound refinements. Technologies like Dynamic QNED Color Pro and certified 100 percent color volume ensure that tones remain rich and accurate even in bright HDR scenes. To maintain depth in dark environments, Precision Dimming Ultra precisely orchestrates thousands of local dimming zones to reveal fine details while keeping highlights crisp. Furthermore, AI Super Upscaling uses deep learning algorithms to refine textures and edges, producing natural-looking 4K visuals that remain sharp even on the largest screens.

For sports fans and gamers, the webOS 26 platform offers a more personalized and interactive ecosystem that adapts to individual preferences. The dedicated Sports Portal provides a centralized hub for live scores and schedules, while Sports Alert delivers real-time notifications for favorite teams. Audio is equally prioritized, as AI Sound Pro utilizes the TV’s built-in speakers to create a virtual 11.1.2 channel surround sound experience.

Gamers can take advantage of variable refresh rates up to 165Hz and a Motion Booster that pushes refresh rates to 330Hz for exceptional smoothness during fast-paced action. The LG Gaming Portal also provides direct access to thousands of cloud-based and native games. This entire smart environment is secured by LG Shield, a CES 2026 Innovation Award-winning technology that uses advanced encryption to protect user data.

Beyond the massive 115-inch QNED90 flagship, the lineup includes a 100-inch QNED85 model and a range of screens extending to the QNED70 to suit various home viewing environments. For more information, check out the official website.
