2026 is a big year for ASUS Republic of Gamers, as it marks the iconic gaming brand’s 20th anniversary. Yes, the first-ever ASUS ROG product was released back in 2006, and since then, ROG has released lots of innovative gaming tech, limited not only to PC gaming components, but also to laptops and other portable gaming devices.
As part of its 20th anniversary, ASUS ROG has unveiled a wide array of special products and devices, including notable laptops that have landed in the PH market just recently. There’s also the special Edition 20 lineup, which celebrates the brand’s 20-year legacy with a series of eye-catching gaming products.

Many of these new ROG releases were highlighted at the recent Life with ROG showcase in the Philippines. To better appreciate the latest releases, though, let’s take a trip down memory lane to look at some of ROG’s most significant releases.
Looking Back at ROG’s 20-Year Legacy

The first-ever ROG product is the ROG Crosshair Extreme, a motherboard that debuted the cubic “Project G” logo. In the same year, ASUS debuted the G1, the first gaming laptop to have the now iconic “Fearless Eye” logo.
Since those first two releases, ASUS has continued to release innovative gaming products under the ROG banner. These include the ROG XG Station, which is the first external GPU docking station, along with the ROG Matrix 285, which is the first ROG GPU to feature RGB lighting.

In recent years, we’ve also seen some impressive devices that make triple-A gaming more portable. For instance, there’s the ROG Flow X13, which is a 13-inch convertible laptop that can be paired with the slim XG Mobile external GPU. The most portable gaming machine from ROG, though, is the Ally, the brand’s first Windows gaming handheld.
To mark its 20th anniversary, ROG unveiled a special edition collection, which we saw first-hand at Computex 2026.
ROG Celebrates Milestone with Edition 20 Lineup

At this year’s Computex, we got to see the Edition 20 line, which features a selection of limited-edition gaming peripherals, components, accessories, lifestyle goods, and more. All of the items in the collection feature a distinct “Radiant Gold” color scheme, which is a fitting way to mark ASUS ROG’s 20th year in the industry.
The Edition 20 line includes gaming components like the ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20, which is a flagship motherboard with an integrated AIO cooling architecture, full‑width thermal deck, and whole‑copper design. There’s also the Swift OLED PG27AQWP-G Edition 20, which is a 26.5-inch WOLED gaming monitor with support for QHD at up to 540Hz or HD at an incredible 720Hz refresh rate.
Another highlight is the ROG XBOX Ally X20, featuring a Transforming D-Pad, Hall effect sensors, and a bundled ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses.
Some of these Edition 20 items were highlighted at ROG’s recent Philippine launch event, including the ROG SLASH Hard-case Luggage Edition 20 and SLASH Backpack Edition 20. But what got the spotlight is the range of new ROG gaming laptops.
ROG Zephyrus Duo 2026: The Ultimate Portable Gaming Machine

Perhaps the biggest highlight of the Life with ROG showcase is the 2026 ROG Zephyrus Duo (GX651AX). This is the latest dual-screen gaming laptop from ROG, and it has seriously good displays. Specifically, it has two 16-inch 16:10 3K ROG Nebula HDR OLED touch displays, complete with 1,100 nits of peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Zephyus Duo’s form factor also means you can use it in a variety of ways, including Laptop Mode, Dual-Screen Mode, Book Mode, Tent Mode, and Sharing Mode. This gives users extra flexibility.
Fittingly, the laptop has powerful hardware, as it is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU combo, paired with 64GB of LPDDR5X memory and 2TB of SSD storage. With these, the Zephyrus Duo 2026 should be able to handle all the games you throw at it with no issues.
ROG Zephyrus G16 and Zephyrus G14 2026: Powerful Performance in a Slim Package
For gamers who want a powerful partner but don’t want to sacrifice portability, the Zephyrus G16 and Zephyrus G14 2026 are great choices.
The first of this new line is the ROG Zephyrus G16 (GU606), a gaming laptop that weighs just 1.85kg, despite having a large 16-inch 2.5K ROG Nebula HDR OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate. This display should make it great for gaming and binge-watching.
As for performance, the G16 won’t disappoint, as it features an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. Again, this should run even the most demanding triple-A titles that are available now on Steam.

Next, we have the ROG Zephyrus G14 (GU405). This packs a capable Intel Core Ultra 9 386H and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU combo, with a 4-inch 3K 120Hz ROG Nebula HDR OLED display with NVIDIA G-SYNC.
Given how portable and powerful it is, the latest Zephyrus G14 should be an excellent partner for gamers who are always on the go but still want to get some gaming done.
ROG Strix SCAR and Strix G 2026: Striking Laptops for Triple-A and Esports Gaming

Finally, we have the new ROG Strix 2026 laptops. The Strix SCAR 18 is made for gamers who want a gaming laptop with a massive display, as it has a large 18-inch 4K ROG Nebula HDR display with a 240Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-SYNC. With this, games should look incredibly pretty, enough that you won’t need a separate screen to get top-notch visuals.
To run games on such a big screen, a laptop needs powerful hardware, and the Strix SCAR 18 2026 does not disappoint. It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus + RTX 5090 laptop GPU combo, complete with 64GB of memory. Thanks to these, 4K gaming should be no issue.
Plus, if you want to upgrade down the line, the ROG Strix SCAR has a tool-less access design on the bottom panel, making it easy to add or replace the laptop’s RAM and SSD.

Rounding out the lineup is the Strix G collection. This lineup features multiple variants. For starters, the Strix G16 laptops pack 16-inch screens and the latest Intel CPUs. Where they differ is the GPU, as each laptop is powered by an RTX 5050, RTX 5060, RTX 5070, and RTX 5080, respectively.
As for the larger Strix G18, this model has an 18-inch screen, an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus CPU, and an RTX 5070Ti.
All these new gaming laptops have landed in the Philippines at official ROG stores and partner retailers.
Best of all, each purchase of the 2026 ROG laptops comes with an array of freebies, including Microsoft 365 Basic with 100 GB Cloud Storage, ROG accessories, and the ASUS No. 1 Quality and Service Package (which comes with 3-year International/Local Warranty + 1-year Local Accidental Damage Protection).
