Pro wrestling fans are hyed for some much-awaited and much-needed high-octane action as DEXCON launches Battle Pass this coming weekend. Kicking off at the Bigger Pictures in Mandaluyong, “Jam of the Joshis 2” and “Ay Sus” headline the collaboration between DEXCON, Season Pass, and the Community Flea Market. This two-day extravaganza delivers a chance to explore curated vintage finds during the day and witness high-stakes professional wrestling matches in the evening.
By combining the thrill of the ring with a touring flea market, the goal is to bring both local fashion hunters and dedicated wrestling fans together without suplexing each other. One can only dream.
The weekend features significant career milestones and intense international clashes. Veteran Main Maxx is set to compete in his 100th match against his Gemini Kings partner, “The Grizzled Young Unc” Romeo. Likewise, Jake De Leon will defend his DEXCON World Championship against Ares, the reigning VPW Openweight Champion from Vietnam.
The Saturday schedule culminates with “Jam of the Joshis 2,” a premiere all-female showcase starting at 6:00 p.m. Here, Super P defends the CWE Vixen’s Championship against ChocoPro’s Sayaka Obihiro, while Joya defends her Lakambini ng DEXCON Women’s World Championship against the unpredictable Mei Suruga.
Sunday’s event, titled “Ay Sus,” continues the action by pitting homegrown Filipino talent against elite international stars. The Best Bros, Baliyan Akki and Mei Suruga, are scheduled to face off against the well-traveled tandem of Crystal and Jomar.
The evening ends in a deeply personal main event where Jake De Leon defends his world title against former stablemate Ravena. This rivalry, rooted in their shared history within Oro Plata Mata, represents a final settling of scores in front of a live crowd.
