Samsung's new intelligent eyewear is also built in partnership with Google.

Alongside the new foldables lineup, Samsung unveiled its new intelligent eyewear, featuring designs by Gentle Monster and Warby Parker.

These new eyewear models from Samsung are made with a lightweight frame and slim profile, so they should be comfortable to wear for long periods, as you would a typical pair of eyeglasses/sunglasses. They also feature various integrations with the Galaxy ecosystem, as well as stylish designs.

In terms of usability, these eyeglasses are powered by the Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 Platform, meaning they support AI performance while having good power efficiency and thermal management. They also provide timely information, smart AI assistance, and Google Gemini integration. Specifically, its highlight features include:

  • These glasses can be used to summarize long messages, read key information aloud, support live translation, and allow users to control their smartphone with voice or gesture interactions.
  • These can be used to capture what the user is seeing (such as meeting notes), and then organize key details in the phone’s notes app.
  • Users can also ask for guidance based on their location, such as route-finding or language translation.
  • Users can share live visuals during a call or record their point of view.

Finally, for design, the Gentle Monster edition features a slim frame in black, complete with a straight upper rim and rounded lower edges. As for the Warby Parker model, it has a brown color with an upswept brow line.

Pricing and availability of these new eyewear models in the Philippines will be shared soon.
