New HBO Trailer and EW Covers promote Season 5 of Game of Thrones

In just exactly a month time, fans of the land of Westeros and Medieval Fantasy will be treated to the return of HBO’s highly acclaimed TV Series adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s bestselling “A Song of Ice and Fire” series, “Game of Thrones“. The show is now on its fifth season, and will depict the events that occur in the fourth and fifth books of Martin’s novels – namely “A Feast for Crows” and “A Dance with Dragons“.

To help generate more hype and interest for the show and promote HBO’s new standalone service with Apple TV, a brand new trailer was recently released during Apple’s launch event for the “Apple Watch“. This featured new footage that prominently highlights Emilia Clarke who reprises her role as Daenerys Targaryen, and Peter Dinklage as the exiled Tyrion Lannister.

 Also recently released are these excellent variant covers for the upcoming March 20/27 issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine, featuring Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, Arya Stark, and Jon Snow.
