All of us, more or less, know what a Con of such magnitude brings – a huge collection of comics and toys *insert high pitched geeky squeal here*, animations, games, cosplay, among others. BUT more than that, the APCC’s program features some ZOMG-level can’t-be-missed highlights! Are you ready?

Pop Culture Celebrities
I’m talking about Hollywood-level celebrities HERE. IN THE PHILIPPINES. AT THE CON. BREATHING THE SAME AIR WE DO (I’m not creepy, I swear >_<). They’ll be among us celebrating Geekery and will have their own roles in the Con such as judges for events and as part of conversation panels. Among the attendees are Hollywood Star Paul Bettany (best known for his role as Jarvis / Vision in “Avengers”), Colton Haynes (from “Teen Wolf” and “Arrow”), Nathalie Emmanuel (from “Game of Thrones”), Chad Michael Murray(from “Agent Carter”), and Bill Goldberg (from WWE). Adding to that lineup, you have Allison Harvard (from “America’s Next Top Model”) and Jeremy Shada (the voice behind Finn the Human from “Adventure Time”). Whew! That’s a lot and I can’t wait to catch them all at APCC!

CAGE’s Biggest Cosplay Competition
This isn’t your ordinary Cosplay Competition, Ladies and Gents. This is the CAGE’s (Cosplay Authority Global Challenge) one-of-a-kind cosplay competition and the grand prize is a huge record-breaking USD10,000! Such a competition, of course, warrants the presence of awesome personalities as judges like international prop and costume maker Bill Doran, Philippine Cosplay Queen Alodia Gosiengfiao, Cosplay Photographer Jay Tablante, the Global Cosplay phenomenon Linda Le aka VampyBitMe, and internet’s own Creepy Chan Allison Harvard.

Aside from Alodia and Vampy, the APCC will also be graced by the presence of actress/model/host LeeAnna Vamp, award-winning American Cosplayer Monika Lee, and Canadian Cosplayer/model/costume designer Riki “Riddle” LeCotey. Oh yeah, guys. It’s going to be a Cosplay Extravaganza!
The Special Trailer Screening of Captain America: Civil War
Let that sink in. Yes. YES! YES!!! We get to see it! Along with a special Marvel Panel, we get to finally see what’s in-store for us on the next Captain America movie. OMG!

We also get to hear from the epic people behind our beloved collectibles. Designer J’Ryu, co-founder and Creative Director of TokidokiSimone Legno, mixed media artist Amanda Louise Spayd, sculptor / painter Chris Ryniak, comic book writer and artist David Mack and David Yardin will be sharing and talking about their passions with us as well as show us their works.
