New Pokémon GO upcoming Update lets you Catch Rare Monsters a Little Easier

    As announced by Niantic Labs, here’s a sneak peak of the upcoming new feature of Pokémon GO, Catch Bonuses!

    By catching certain types of Pokémon, a players can earn medals such as

    • Kindler: Catch 200 Fire-type Pokémons
    • Swimmer: Catch 50 Water-type Pokémons
    • Punk Girl: Catch 10 Poison-type Pokémons

    As a bonus of such earning medals, this will increase the odds of catching rare Pokémon related type.

    Once you have earned a Kindler Medal, your bonus to catch Fire-type Pokémon such as Charmander, Vulpix and Ponyta increases too!

    In cases when a Pokémon has multiple types, such as with Pidgey (who is both Normal and Flying type), your bonus will be the average of your bonuses for each type.

    Medals” are an original feature of the Pokémon GO game as the player milestones, however it is only with this announcement that Niantic have shared that players can earn bonuses after achieving a medal.

    As of the moment, there is no release date of the new version of Pokémon GO.  We will post it as soon the update is available, stay tuned!

      I’ve read your article about Pokemon Go.

      Actually I’m about to complete 145 Pokemon in my Pokedex.

      As of this writing, I’m schedule for HongKong, Australia and US to catch my remaining 3 regional.
