Early this week, Niantic released a bunch of new exciting updates for the Pokémon GO app which make your game more comfortable! They’re finally here and are now available for download via Google Play (v 0.49.0) and App Store (1.19.0).
The update developer release notes includes:
- Trainers will be able to transfer multiple Pokémon at a time to Professor Willow. To use this function, press and hold on a Pokémon. *FINALLY! You can save TONS of time when transferring*
- The total Candy count for your Buddy Pokémon has been added to the buddy information screen.
- The total kilometers a buddy has walked has been added to the information screen of each Pokémon that has ever been your buddy.
- Pokémon type icons have been added to the Gym battle approach and Gym battle screen.
- Minor text fixes.
Last weekend, a surprise feature with the “Nearby and Tracking” icons became available for the Trainers in the Philippines.
Now, at the Nearby screen, you can now view which among the nearby PokéStops a particular Pokémon can be spotted. Previously this feature is only available in the US, but it seems they have activated it for the rest of the regions.
Seems Niantic is gearing up Trainers for the upcoming new Pokémon to be released on December 12.
