Anime fans, rejoice and clear your January 2018 calendars! Cardcaptor Sakura returns to TV screens in an all-new anime story titled “The Clear Card Arc“!
The classic magical girl anime story of the 90’s continues this coming January, as main protagonist Sakura Kinomoto starts her junior high school life. After a mysterious and prophetic dream, Sakura discovers that the Clow Cards have gone blank and lose their magic. Together with her friends, Sakura goes on a mission to recapture the cards and unravel this new mystery.
Much of the original cast and staff are confirmed to return, with Sakura Tange, Aya Hisakawa, Junko Iwao and Kumai Motoko reprising their roles as Sakura, Kerberos, Tomoyo and Syaoran respectively. Will new characters also be making an appearance? Let’s wait and see!
