June is Pride Month, a celebration of LGBTQ+ culture and history around the world. To celebrate Pride Month, PlayStation recently released its Pride Theme 2019 for the PS4, and it’s now available to download on the PlayStation Store for free. It’s only available in the PlayStation US store right now though.

The 2019 Pride Month theme is similar to last year’s in that it features a wallpaper with the PlayStation buttons with rainbow colors. Unlike the previous Pride theme though, this one has a black background, as well as a more subtle rainbow color for the icons.

PlayStation’s Pride Month celebration doesn’t end there though. SIE Europe recently announced a line of exclusive Pride-themed merchandise such as mugs, t-shirts, and pins. The line is exclusively available for PlayStation Gear customers in the UK.
This isn’t the first time this year that PlayStation made a free theme available for everyone. Last March, PlayStation also released a free theme in celebration of International Women’s Day, and it featured popular female characters from PS-exclusive titles such as Aloy (Horizon Zero Dawn), Freya (God of War), Ellie (The Last of Us), and many more.
