The Pokémon Company recently announced that the mobile version of Pokémon Champions will be released on June 17 on Android and iOS.
In case you missed it, Pokémon Champions was released on the Nintendo Switch back in April as a free-to-play game. Given that it’s free, it should come as no surprise that a mobile version was also being made. Now, the game is finally going to come out later this month.
For fans who can’t wait, the game’s mobile versions are available for pre-registration now on the App Store and Google Play.
In case you’re unfamiliar, Pokémon Champions is a strategy game that was revealed in early 2025 alongside Pokémon Legends: Z-A. While Champions is still a turn-based strategy game that should feel familiar to long-time fans of the franchise, it’s built as a multiplayer experience. As such, the game does not have any exploration or breeding, and players can recruit Pokémon within the game. Of course, players will also have the option of bringing their roster from Pokémon Home.
For the mobile version, players will be able to link their Nintendo Account. By linking an account, players will get full cross-progression. The mobile version will also have cross-platform support with the Switch version.
In related news, the Pokémon TCG’s 30th Celebration Expansion was recently confirmed to be released this September.
