A few weeks ago, Huawei announced the Mate 30 series, its latest flagship series which packs the latest cameras and processor from the tech giant. Much like previous Mate devices, the new lineup consists of two models — the Mate 30 Pro and the Mate 30.
The Mate 30 Pro packs 6.53-inch OLED “Horizon” display, a Kirin 990 processor, and a new quad Leica camera setup. The new quad cam of the Mate 30 Pro consists of a 40MP Ultra-Wide Cine Camera, a 40MP SuperSensing Camera, an 8MP Telephoto Camera and a 3D Depth Sensing Camera, all arranged in the new “halo ring” design.
The Mate 30 meanwhile, comes with a larger 6.62-inch OLED screen, and a triple-camera setup that’s reminiscent of the P30’s shooters. What the Mate 30 shares with the Pro model though is the powerful new Kirin 990 processor.
