Unboxing the Ghost of Tsushima ‘Collectors Edition’

That Sakai Mask!

Almost a month ago has passed since we unboxed The Last of Us 2 Ellie Edition. With no signs of chill from Sucker Punch Productions and Sony PlayStation, here we are once again with yet another unboxing on what looks to be a lot of gamers GOTY for 2020. Let’s take a look at the Collector’s Edition for Ghost of Tsushima.

Before we start though, the price of the entire bundle is 10,595 php (or around 215 USD) coming from our friendly local gamestore Datablitz. Will this collection be worthy of your coin? Let’s find out when we check in pictures each and every physical component the game has inside!

Sashimono (War Banner) and I mean WAR BANNER!

Furoshiki (Wrapping Cloth)

Looks like a lot of fabric was used in the creation of this bundle. That’s the 3rd piece of cloth now!

SteelBook Case with game

48-page Mini Art Book by Dark Horse

Sakai Mask with Stand

The crowning centerpiece of the entire collection is the very functional Sakai Mask. Though its a tad bigger than my face, I can imagine myself wearing this on top of another more health-oriented mask. Cosplay enthusiasts should find this enticing to get as this stands to be an accurate 1:1 scale replica of the one used in the game.

What do you guys think? Overall I really like the simplicity of the package, only going a bit overboard with the fabric components. For a game that’s considered to be one of the PlayStation 4’s swan songs, it looks to be that they are transitioning to next-gen with a bang. Though its not showed here, there’s also some digital goodies that you can download like PS4 themes and skin sets, but I’ll leave that for you to check it out.

Ghost of Tsushima is available right now for the PlayStation 4.

Special thanks to Doho Lobaha Pururiin for sharing his collector’s edition with us!
