Five reasons why the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED is an excellent partner for content creators

The ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED (UX582) from ASUS might just be the best for content creators this year – here are five reasons why.

ONE Store Beta Now Available

ASUS has just launched the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED in the Philippines, and it is the brand’s refresh of its signature dual-screen laptop which debuted back in 2019. This refreshed model doesn’t come with just a simple spec bump though; it also has several major improvements that make it one of the best laptops for creative professional.

Not convinced? Well, here are five reasons why the new ZenBook Pro Duo is an excellent content creation partner!

Impressive Specs

One of the most important features that a content creation laptop needs is powerful hardware; after all, a high-end CPU and GPU is needed for video editing, 3D apps, and other content creation programs. In this regard, the new ZenBook Pro Duo does not disappoint!

Firstly, the laptop is powered by up to a 10th-gen Intel Core i9 processor, meaning it should have enough CPU power for even hardware-intensive programs. Complementing the processor is an NVIDIA RTX 3070 Studio edition GPU which is a must-have for any rendering need. On top of these, the Pro Duo 15 also packs 32GB of RAM, meaning this laptop should be able to handle the wide array of apps a content pro needs.

OLED Display

Next up is the laptop’s improved display. While the previous ZenBook Pro Duo already had a great 4K screen, the new version is even better. As its name implies, the new Pro Duo 15 has an OLED display, meaning it produces more vibrant colors and deeper blacks.

Along with the OLED panel, the screen also retains the 4K resolution of its predecessor. It’s also Pantone validated, meaning you should get accurate colors. Finally, the screen is also a touch display; perfect when out and about if you left your mouse at home.

Better ScreenPad Plus

Aside from the main display, the Pro Duo 15 OLED’s secondary screen – the ScreenPad Plus – also got several enhancements. The touch display now has a cleaner UI, as well as a revamped App Navigator and Task Groups.

The ScreenPad Plus also retains several useful functionalities of its predecessor, including the built-in handwriting app and calculator. On top of these, several programs such as Excel and Adobe Premiere Pro take advantage of the second screen to offer nifty shortcuts.

Improved Design

The previous ZenBook Pro Duo had a second screen that laid flat on the laptop’s surface. While the laptop itself does have an upward tilt, it can be a bit hard to use the ScreenPad. Now though, with the Pro Duo 15 OLED, ASUS uses a new lifting mechanism to tilt the second screen up when you open the laptop.

What this does is make the ScreenPad Plus easier to see and use, especially if you’re using the screen to write using the included ASUS stylus. The lifting mechanism also has the extra benefit of opening the laptop up for extra cooling.

Gaming Capable

Content creation can be fun, but every creative pro knows the value of taking a break. After working on a project, you can use the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED for gaming. Not just for esports titles mind you; you can even play triple-A games on it thanks to its capable GPU.

Of course, a dedicated gaming laptop is still better for marathon gaming sessions. But if you want to play a bit on your break, the Pro Duo 15 is up to that task.

The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED (UX582) is available now in the Philippines for PHP 199,995 for the i9 variant and PHP 169,995 for the i7 variant.
