Following the news that Hololive’s Idols/Vtubers Minato Aqua, Oozora Subaru, and Momosuzu Nene will sing the ending theme for an upcoming anime, this time, Hololive Idol/Vtubers Shirakami Fubuki and Natsuiro Matsuri will make an anime appearance as themselves in the upcoming series, The Detective Is Already Dead.

The news was confirmed recently via the anime’s Twitter account, and it revealed that the two Hololive Vtubers will appear in the anime’s third episode.
In case you’re unfamiliar, the series, tells the story of high school student Kimihiko Kimizuko whose life changed when he became the partner of the detective Siesta, but her untimely death forces Kimizuko to return to his normal life. But when things are about to go back as it was, he meets another girl who resembles the late Siesta. This meeting throws his life back in danger.
The Detective Is Already Dead is a light novel series written by Nigojū with illustrations by Umibōzu, and the anime adaptation will air on July 4, 2021, in Japan.
