realme to launch the realme 8 5G in the Philippines next week
realme has just confirmed that its latest 5G-ready smartphone, the realme 8 5G, will launch in the Philippines on June 24, 2021.
After the recent release of the 8 Pro, realme Philippines has just confirmed that it is releasing the realme 8 5G in the country soon. Specifically, the phone will officially debut in a launch event scheduled on June 24, 2021.
The newest mid-ranger from realme is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor which, as the name implies, has 5G connectivity. Alongside 5G, the realme 8 5G also features a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, as well as a large 5000mAh battery with 18w fast charging support.
As for cameras, the realme 8 5G has a 48MP F/1.8 main + 2MP portrait + 2MP macro triple-rear camera setup, as well as a 16MP F/2.1 front camera.

The realme 8 5G will be available in two colors: Supersonic Black and Supersonic Blue, and the phone’s launch in the Philippines will go live on June 24 at 6PM via the official realme Facebook page.
