Another wave of PS5 pre-orders opens in the Philippines tomorrow, August 20

Missed out on the previous pre-orders?  Here’s your chance as the eighth wave of PS5 pre-orders in the Philippines opens tomorrow, August 20! This pre-order for the latest PlayStation console will be available in various video game retailers in the Philippines.

Take note though, PS5 stocks are still very limited, so the PS5 pre-orders in the Philippines will be open only from 2:00 PM to 2:05 PM tomorrow, similar to previous pre-order periods.

Also, each retailer will have their own set of requirements so you can pre-order. For instance, some retailers require you to first subscribe to a newsletter.

Here’s a rundown of some of the PH retailers where you can try your luck at pre-ordering a PS5:

First released in the Philippines back in December, Sony’s PlayStation 5 is still in incredibly high demand, and its stock is also still limited because of the ongoing silicon chip shortage. Given that the shortage might last as long as next year, it seems that PS5 drops will continue to be limited in the coming months. Though here’s hoping that the PS5 stock situation improves by later this year so that PS5s can be readily available during the holiday season.
