To celebrate the 2022 Lunar New Year, Steam is dropping their first major sale of the year from January 27 to February 3. This happens just a bit earlier than last year, and it could be to follow suit to all the other sales and giveaways going live at the moment. Either way, gamers win.
If you missed the Winter Sale, this is the best time to catch all the new and classic titles at very affordable prices. As usual, everything is categorized by franchise, by genre, and by whatever you’ve taken a liking to. That’s some easy breezy cart management.
Don’t worry if you weren’t able to snag some of 2021’s award-winning games. It Takes Two, Deathloop, and UnGeek’s unofficial top pick of the year, Tales of Arise are there for the taking. Wanna be caught up on a couple of February’s most hyped franchise sequels? Dying Light and Horizon Zero Dawn haven’t been cheaper. Lastly, if you still haven’t played Red Dead Redemption 2 or Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, now’s a good time to do so. Start the year right by planning ahead–while avoiding a new backlog (though who can really avoid a huge backlog, right?).
