Samsung unveils the Galaxy Tab S8 Series

Along with the reveal of the S22 series, Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy Tab S8 series during the recent Unpacked event. The new tablet lineup is composed of three models: the Galaxy Tab S8 5G/Wi-Fi, the S8+ 5G, and the first-ever Tab S8 Ultra 5G.
Each tablet comes with the same 13MP AF + 6MP Ultra-Wide + Flash camera setup, as well as the same 4 nm 64-bit Octa-Core Processor. The Galaxy Tab S8 also come with improved S Pen support. The main difference between the variants is the display size.
The Tab S8 5G/Wi-Fi comes with an 11-inch, 2560×1600,(WQXGA) screen; the Tab S8+ 5G features a 12.4-inch, 2800 x 1752 screen; and the Tab S8 Ultra 5G has a 14.6-inch, 2960 x 1848 display.
As for battery, the Tab S8 5G/Wi-Fi, S8+ and S8 Ultra 5G come with 8,000mAh, 10,090mAh, and 11,200mAh batteries respectively.
Galaxy Tab S8 Philippines Price and Availability
Starting March 4, the Galaxy Tab S8 Series will be available in Samsung Online Store, Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung Authorized Dealers, Lazada, Shopee, Abenson.com and MemoXpress Online. The new Galaxy Tablet series will be priced at the following SRPs:
- PHP 77,990 SRP for the Galaxy S8 Ultra 5G in Graphite
- PHP 63,990 SRP for the Galaxy S8+ 5G in Graphite
- PHP 49,990 SRP for the Galaxy Tab S8 5G in Silver
- PHP 41,990 SRP for the Tab S8 Wi-Fi in Silver and Pink Gold
The Galaxy Tab S8 is available for pre-order starting February 9, 11pm to March 3, customers via the Samsung Online Store, while pre-order via Samsung Authorized Dealers, Lazada, Shopee, Abenson.com, MemoXpress.com. Meanwhile, pre-orders in other Authorized Online Partners will be open from February 10 to March 3.
Each pre-order will come with the ultimate productivity bundle worth up to PHP 32,723. This bundle includes a Book Cover Keyboard worth PHP 17,599, and the Galaxy Buds Pro worth PHP 9,990 for Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra 5G pre-orders. Those who choose to pre-order the Galaxy Tab S8+ 5G will get a Book Cover Keyboard Slim worth PHP 8,099, and the Galaxy Buds Live worth P7,990. Meanwhile, the Book Cover Keyboard Slim worth PHP 7,099 and the Galaxy Buds2 worth PHP 6,990 will come with the Galaxy Tab S8 5G or Wi-Fi pre-orders. On top of these, all bundles include a one year personal subscription to Microsoft 365, a one year subscription of VIU Premium, and four months of YouTube Premium (PHP 5,134).
