    Predator announces the Predator League 2022 Philippine Finals

    Following the end of Predator League 2020/21 back in April of last year, Acer has announced the Predator League 2022 Philippine Finals event.

    This year’s Predator League features Dota 2 and Valorant teams in the Philippines. Though only the best will make it to the top during the finals event this September.

    The Predator League 2022 Philippine Finals is happening at the SM Mall of Asia Central Atrium from September 17-18, 2022.

    Though before that, the qualifiers will begin on August 4 for Valorant, with other qualifier days scheduled on August 11 and 18. As for Dota 2, the qualifiers will happen on August 7, 13, and 20. Following these, the playoffs stage will take place on August 31 and September 1 for Valorant and August 29 and 30 for Dota 2.

    The upcoming event features a total prize pool of PHP 1 millions, and it will be distributed as:

    • 1st place – PHP 200,000
    • 2nd place – PHP 100,000
    • 3rd place – PHP 75,000
    • 4th place PHP 50,000
    • Qualifier winners will each receive PHP 25,000

    Aside from getting big cash prizes, the winning team of the Dota 2 leg will represent the Philippines at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2022 Grand Finals which is happening from November 11-13 in Japan. There, teams from across 15 countries will participate.

But more than that, we are very happy to see the stakeholders in esports hopeful about the future after two years of restrictions,” said Acer Philippines General Manager Sue Ong-Lim.
