After two years of online events, the Esports and Gaming Summit is coming back, and it seems that ESGS 2022 will be an in-person event this October!
ESGS has been one of the biggest gaming events in the country in the last couple of years, but because of the pandemic, the 2020 and 2021 versions of the event happened purely online.
Recently, the official ESGS Facebook page shared that this year’s event is happening on October 28-30, 2022. According to the announcement, the organizer (which is Gariath Concepts) is “working on a few more stuff” before the lineup of guests and activities is revealed.
While not yet officially confirmed, it’s likely that ESGS will go back to an in-person event this year. After all, we’ve seen big conventions return this year, not to mention that the Pinoy Gaming Festival is happening this weekend — an event also organized by Gariath Concepts.
If an in-person event does get confirmed, expect to seen an exciting lineup of games, esports events, and other attractions.
Plus, we expect ESGS 2022 this October to happen at the SMX Convention Center at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
