ONE Store Beta Now Available

While it’s been three years now since the series was announced, Netflix finally gave us our first look at the One Piece live-action series.

Specifically, Netflix shared the first image of Luffy and the Straw Hat Crew (with the Going Merry on the background) via the show’s official page. Netflix also shared another teaser visual featuring Luffy on its official social media channels.

Check out the first visual here:

While we have yet to see any of the Straw Hat Crew from the front, this image does give us a sense of what to expect. Fans are happy that the cast’s costumes are accurate to the manga and anime, with the only deviation being Luffy who is now wearing shoes instead of sandals.

It also seems that Sanji and Zoro got buff here. Zoro in particular has broad shoulders here.

Meanwhile, here’s the other visual featuring Luffy:

This One Piece series stars Iñaki Godoy as Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. It will be released sometime this year exclusively on Netflix.

Right now, there’s no word yet on when exactly it will be released, though it’s likely that the show will air in mid to late 2023.
