Meet the new Like a Dragon: Ishin ambassadors – Kana Momonogi, Yui Hatano, and Yuna Ogura
SEGA appointed Japanese adult actresses Yui Hatano, Yuna Ogura, and Kana Momonogi as Asia Ambassadors for Like a Dragon: Ishin.
Ahead of the game’s release, SEGA appointed Japanese adult actresses Yui Hatano, Yuna Ogura, and Kana Momonogi as Asia Ambassadors for Like a Dragon: Ishin.
Fellow cultured folks are probably familiar with their body of work, and fans of these three will be happy to know that they won’t just promote the game. They will also appear in Ishin as part of the karaoke track “Ichizu Samurai.”
Aside from just promoting Like a Dragon: Ishin as ambassadors though, it was revealed that the three are fans of the series. They shared this in a recent interview by SEGA which you can watch here:
In the interview, Kana, Yui, and Yuna shared their favorite characters in the series (spoilers: it’s Majima), as well as their experience during the recording of the karaoke video.
Popular Japanese AV actresses have long been a fixture in the Yakuza series. Aside from appearing as collectibles in various games in the franchise, several actress have also played big parts in mini-game storylines.
For instance, both the Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami 2 Cabaret Club mini-games featured AV actresses as the club hostesses.
Players of Yakuza Kiwami 2 should find one of these three familiar. If you need a refresher, Kana Momonogi also played the hostess Kana in that game. So, Ishin actually marks her second major appearance in he series.
Like a Dragon: Ishin will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on February 23, 2023.
