Vans and candy-maker Haribo creates one sweet collaboration

Vans, the action sports wear who first gained notoriety among skating culture enthusiasts, is collaborating with one of the world’s oldest candy and confectionary companies as well as the world’s #1 Gummy candy, Haribo.

This capsule collection should hit the sweet spot for folks of all ages as the capsule collection will feature designs inspired by the happy world of Haribo across iconic Vans styles — including usage of Haribo’s famed Goldbears, their signature Gummy Bear candy.

The colorful Vans x Haribo collection is inspiring that same feeling, and now our fandoms can come together in creative self-exploration and joy.”

The collection includes a variety of footwear, shirts, bottoms, and accessories. To start off, let’s check the 2 main footwear that will be released here, namely the Vans x Haribo Classic Slip-On (Php 6,998) and the Old Skool V in Haribo Yellow Checkerboard (PHP 7,998).

The Vans x Haribo Classic Slip-On is designed with a 3D gummy execution on the canvas vamp inclusive of an embossed applique with injected foam. It’s then finished with four Goldbears screen printed on the heel of the shoe.

If you want something louder, the Old Skool V in Haribo Yellow Checkerboard might be your thing. Built around a bright yellow synthetic patent leather upper and features a Checkerboard gummy bear pattern on the quarters and straps with tasteful messaging on the heel, the shoe is then finished off with Haribo’s signature Green and Red sidestripes that add more nuances to an otherwise monotone sneaker.

Rounding out the apparel offering is an ultra-cozy Vans x Haribo Sweatpant in Sky Blue (PHP 5,298). The SS Tee II in white (PHP 2,998) and black (PHP 2,698) colorways features the Haribo Goldbears. The Vans x Haribo Mini Tee and Bucket Hat is finished with the iconic Haribo mascot and Vans “Off The Wall” logo (PHP 2,998). The Mini Old Skool Backpack has checkerboard print with Haribo Goldbears (PHP 3,698).

Fans will also be able to design their own Vans x Haribo footwear exclusively through Vans’ Customs platform. Four new prints will be available on vans.com/customs.
