Amazon listing hints that Peacemaker and Homelander will appear in Mortal Kombat 1.

A post on Amazon Italy for Mortal Kombat 1 seemingly teases the full roster of playable and Kameo characters for the first DLC pack for Mortal Kombat 1, which includes popular comic book/TV show characters like Peacemaker and Homelander.

Here’s the full list of characters you can expect, should the information hold true:

Six Playable Characters
- Quan Chi
- Omni Man
- Ermac
- Peacemaker
- Takeda
- Homelander
Five Kameo Characters
- Tremor
- Johnny Cage
- Khameleon
- Mavado
- Ferra

Though nothing has been officially announced by both publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer NetherRealm Studios, as a fan of both properties I do hope that the leaks are true when the full game releases.

While this is technically the 12th installment in the long-running series, the game is called Mortal Kombat 1 which points out that this game is a reboot. Technically you may want to count it as a sequel to Mortal Kombat 11 as it is set in a new timeline following MK11’s events where (spoiler) became a god in the end and altered the fate of our characters.

Mortal Kombat 1 is will be available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on September 19, 2023. The game will also be available to play on September 14 for players with early access which will be available with some of the game’s more premium versions.
