Like a Dragon Gaiden: RGG Studio shares with Yasukaze Motomiya

After the RGG Summit Summer 2023 stream showcase, RGG Studio shared a new interview with Yasukaze Motomiya for Like a Dragon Gaiden.
In the upcoming Like a Dragon spinoff, Yasukaze Motomiya plays Kosei Shishido, a lieutenant of a major Omi Alliance subsidiary. In the interview, Motomiya talks about his impressions of the script, as well as his thoughts on the character and the recording process.

Motomiya’s character is a lieutenant of the Watase Family, an Omi Alliance subsidiary that’s considered the “ace in the hole” of the group.
While not a lot is known about his character so far, Shishido will no doubt play a major role in the series. Though given his fearsome appearance, he might be a fearsome adversary of Kiryu in his new adventure in Sotenbori.
The Omi Alliance is a yakuza group that long-time series fans will no doubt be familiar with given that they rule the Osaka underground. Given this, it’ll be interesting to see how Kiryu will handle another encounter with them, but this time not as the legendary Dragon of Dojima.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will release on November 9, 2023, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
