Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon gets teaser trailer and official release date

Zack Snyder fans are in for a treat as the director’s upcoming sci-fi movie Rebel Moon finally has a teaser trailer and release date.

Specifically, the Rebel Moon Netflix release date is on December 22, meaning Snyder fans will need to wait just a few months until the film’s release.

To make the wait a bit more bearable, Netflix shared the new teaser trailer. Though teaser might be underselling it as it’s a whopping 3 minutes and 42 seconds long (not that we’re complaining)

Thanks to films like 300, Watchmen, and Man of Steel, Zack Snyder is a director with a large and dedicated following. While he isn’t involved with DC anymore, Snyder is still busy with lots of projects. For instance, there’s Army of the Dead which was released on Netflix last year.

Now, Snyder and Netflix are gearing up to release another film, and this time it’s an epic sci-fi film that’s described as:

“Rebel Moon is an epic science-fantasy event decades in the making. When a peaceful colony on the edge of a galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of a tyrannical ruling force, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a mysterious stranger living among the villagers, becomes their best hope for survival. Tasked with finding trained fighters who will unite with her in making an impossible stand against the Mother World, Kora assembles a small band of warriors — outsiders, insurgents, peasants and orphans of war from different worlds who share a common need for redemption and revenge. As the shadow of an entire Realm bears down on the unlikeliest of moons, a battle over the fate of a galaxy is waged, and in the process, a new army of heroes is formed.”

This upcoming films stars Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam, and Anthony Hopkins.

Rebel Moon will be streamed worldwide exclusively on Netflix on December 22, 2023.
