The popular Japanese actor Mackenyu is coming to the Philippines, and here’s how you can meet him in person!
In case you missed it, the upcoming pop culture convention ManiPopCon announced that Mackenyu is one of their featured guests, sending Pinoy Mackenyu fans into a frenzy.
Mackenyu coming to the Philippines was revealed in a video shared on their Facebook page which featured Mackenyu himself announcing his upcoming appearance.
Mackenyu needs no introduction for most as he is one of Japan’s most popular actors, especially now given his role as Zoro in the mega-hit Netflix One Piece live-action series. Aside from One Piece, Mackenyu also played roles in movies like Rurouni Kenshin: The Final, Tokyo Ghoul S, and more.
Not a lot of details have been revealed so far about Mackenyu ManiPopCon appearance, but what is confirmed is that there will be a VIP Experience (priced at PHP 12,500), Photo Ops (priced at PHP 6,000), and Autograph sessions (priced at PHP 6,000). The Sunday sessions for the VIP Experience and have already been sold out though, with Photo Ops and Autograph sessions also likely sold out as well.
Thankfully, fans can still get their hands on tickets for the Saturday Photo Ops and Autograph sessions, as confirmed on the event’s official Facebook page.
As for what to expect, there’s not a lot of details yet regarding the VIP Experience, though it will likely come with a combination of Photo Ops and Autographs.
