With a price point of a whopping Php 189,990, you would expect people would think twice before shelling out on the Thom Browne Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and that the unit would probably sit a week or so before they fly off the shelves. NOPE. Made publicly available 10:00 AM on 12 September, this limited-edition of Samsung’s best Galaxy Fold yet sold out in about just under a day.
The Galaxy Z Fold5 Thom Browne Edition features Samsung’s latest foldable technology, combined with Thom Browne’s signature design elements. Aside from the iconic Thom Browne stripe patterns, the kit also includes two leather pouch cases and a special edition S Pen.
But perhaps what sealed the deal for how remarkable the entire collection is the inclusion of a special Thom Browne Galaxy Watch6 with pristine gold bezels and two leather straps: one with black pebble leather and the other with red, white and blue striped leather (all classic Thom Browne stuff). These colors are also used on the 25W travel adapter, the coin-style watch charger and an exclusive fabric USB-C to USB-C cable — all brimming with Thom Browne’s trademark influence.
