Capcom announces gamescom asia 2023 lineup featuring Dragon’s Dogma 2 and more

Capcom is officially coming to gamescom asia 2023, and it will be the publisher’s first game show appearance in Southeast Asia!

While Capcom has showcased its new and upcoming titles in various Southeast Asian gaming events, all of their appearances are made through local partners. For instance, Capcom games are typically highlighted in Datablitz booths at Philippine events like ESGS. Capcom’s big booths are typically reserved for events like Tokyo Game Show or Taipei Game Show.

Finally, Capcom is heading to Southeast Asia with a proper appearance at gamescom asia 2023. There the publisher will highlight some of its big upcoming games, one of which is Dragon’s Dogma 2.

This upcoming RPG is the highly-anticipated sequel to the original Dragon’s Dogma, and players can try the game out at gamescom asia 2023 in Capcom’s booth.

Another game that will get a hands-on experience at Capcom’s booth is Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy. This upcoming release compiles Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice in one remastered package.

Along with Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Apollo Justice, here are the rest of the games in the Capcom gamescom asia 2023 lineup:

  • Exoprimal: The team-based action game featuring humans in exosuits against dinosaurs will have a free demo area at gamescom asia 2023.
  • Resident Evil Village for iPhone and iPad: The eighth mainline entry in the Resident Evil franchise will be released on Apple iPad (with M1 generation chip or higher) and iPhone on October 30, 2023.
  • Street Fighter 6: The recently released SF6 will be featured at gamescom asia 2023 through the Capcom booth. There, the CAPCOM Pro Tour 2023 Offline Premier Singapore will also take place.
  • Resident Evil 4 (VR Mode): gamescom asia 2023 will also feature  demo of the upcoming free VR DLC for PlayStation VR2. .
  • Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat: This upcoming Devil May game is coming to mobile games, and it will be highlighted at this year’s gamescom asia.
  • Street Fighter: Duel: Along with DMC, Street Fighter will also get a mobile game that will let players play exciting fighting game matches while on the go.
