The budget-friendly vivo Y17s is out now in the Philippines
vivo's newest Y-series phone is one of its most affordable devices this year.
Fresh after launching the V29, vivo is back with another phone, this time the new vivo Y17s has been released in the Philippines.
Even though it is priced well below PHP 10k, the new Y17s promises to be a reliable daily driver for budget-conscious users thanks to its suite of features.
To start, the Y17s has a 50MP main camera with vivo’s Night Algorithm. Thanks to this, the phone promises to deliver good low-light shots that are social media-ready. At the front meanwhile is an 8MP camera that should also provide good selfies.
Powering the phone is a MediaTek Helio G85 processor that’s complemented by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone also supports storage expansion of up to 1TB through a micro SD card.
The Y17s also features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD screen, as well as a large 5,000mAh battery with 15W wired fast charging support. Finally, this phone comes with an IP54 rating, giving it good dust and water protection even without a case.
