8BitDo unveils Genshin Impact Chongyun edition wireless controller
This is a must- have controller for Genshin Impact fans!
8BitDo recently revealed its new Genshin Impact Chongyun edition wireless controller, and pre-orders are available now!
This new wireless controller is compatible with Apple, Windows, and Android devices. It also features 2.4GHz and wired connectivity, with Bluetooth also being available for Apple devices. Though take note that Genshin Impact on Android does not support external controllers, so you won’t be able to use this controller for your Android phone if you want to play Genshin.
As for the controller itself, its layout is similar to that of the Xbox controller, though it comes with back buttons for extra control options.
Its design is the most striking thing about the controller though. The 8BitDo controller features an icy blue color scheme with a gold-colored D-pad — inspired by the Cryo character Chongyun.
Along with the special controller and charging dock, each package also comes with a bunch of goodies, including a carrying case, joystick caps, a keychain, and a fridge magnet.
This new controller is priced at USD 59.99 (around PHP 3,330) and it’s available for pre-order now on Amazon. It is set to be released on December 18, 2023.
8BitDo isn’t the first tech brand that HoYoverse has teamed up with. After all, there have been plenty of Genshin Impact collabs over the past couple of years such as the OnePlus Hu Tao edition Ace Pro and the Razer x Genshin collection.
