While this may seem like hyperbolic lip service, simply scrolling through the watch’s home screen and delving deep into the very beefy HUAWEI Health would confirm our statements.
As such with creating extensions of yourself, expression comes into play. What better way to strut your stuff than with a customizable, swappable function that allows your watch face to seamlessly incorporate itself into your already stylish ensemble. All you need to do is open the HUAWEI Health app, select your device, go into your “watch faces” and select the very first one marked with an easy-to-spot “DIY.” Now, all you need to do is point and click on your desired set of swag for the day, and choose among a variety of generated patterns that would suit your style.
While the green wristband already boasts a premium feel of its own, having a bit of your own personality shine through the watch face is an additional stylish touch. Make no mistake, as the HUAWEI Watch GT 4 already has a generous selection of face designs already baked into the device itself, but that added customizability is just a feature you can’t help but play around with. I mean, who doesn’t want a complete stylish ensemble?
Navigate with Class
Now, you’re all stylishly set up for your holiday, and just stepped out the door. When we mentioned that the HUAWEI Watch GT 4 was a capable travel buddy, we didn’t mean it in a superficial sense. Sure, the idea of walking up to the locals and flaunting your drip might be tempting–an idea which would not recommend, but we meant something a bit more substantial, and not to mention helpful.

Powered by most apps available in the HUAWEI ecosystem, it’s no surprise that the AppGallery’s Petal Maps syncs effortlessly with the HUAWEI Watch GT 4. Once both apps are installed on your watch and phone, navigating through just about any town and locale is but a breeze. You can choose to have Petal Maps on loudspeaker, if you’re so bold to do so–or have it play through your connected audio device. Either way, directions come out clear, pinpointing is precise, and there’s a guarantee that getting lost will be completely due to human error. So, listen well and keep your ears peeled, and eyes on the road.
In our recent trips to Japan and Thailand, where walking and public transportation were highly encouraged, the HUAWEI Watch GT 4 was able to hold its own in pointing our direction-impaired selves toward the right destination. Whether it was the nearby convenience store or a convention center two cities away, we always managed to arrive safe, sweaty, and sound.

As a smartwatch, health monitor, travel buddy, and fashion statement all rolled up in one, the HUAWEI Watch GT 4 has so much to offer anyone who even glances its way.
