Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth shares three brand-new trailers

With the game’s release just one day away, SEGA and RGG Studio shared three new trailers for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the long-awaited next game in the Like a Dragon/Yakuza series.

Each of these three trailers focuses on one of the game’s main characters, namely Ichiban Kasuga, Kazuma Kiryu, and Koichi Adachi. While they’re fairly short, they feature a bunch of clips that should give fans a good idea of what to expect in this upcoming game.

While 2023 saw two big Like a Dragon releases with Ishin and Gaiden, Infinite Wealth is the next mainline installment in the series that’s essentially Like a Dragon 8. That’s because it’s the proper sequel of Yakuza: Like a Dragon (or Yakuza 7), and as such, it brings back the turn-based JRPG formula but with a bunch of enhancements.

As for its setting, the game primarily takes place in Honolulu, Hawaii, making it the first game in the series that will be set outside Japan, though the Yokohama map and the iconic Kamurocho map is going to come back.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on January 26, 2024.
