ONE Store Beta Now Available

With the game’s release just a few days away, SEGA and RGG Studio shared details about The Bucket List, a new side story arc for Kiryu in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

This side story arc is a collection of activities for Kiryu where he reminisces with former companions, ties up loose ends, and visits places from his past.

Its premise is described as:

Kiryu reveals to his companions that his days are numbered. His friends suggest that he create a bucket list to find closure and make the most of what time he has left.

Aside from the story experience, The Bucket List should prove compelling for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth players as experiencing it will increase Kiryu’s Soul, Tech, and Body. Doing the activities in this side story arc will also raise Kiryu’s Awakening level, strengthening his Dragon of Doijima fighting style.

The Bucket List is divided into the following categories:

Life Links

Life Links is a key component of this side story arc as it is composed of a bunch of episodes that detail the present lives of Kiryu’s old friends. This will begin with a fateful reunion with Makoto Date.

As a bonus, characters whom Kiryu meets here will be able to assist in combat through the Poundmates system.

Memoirs of a Dragon

Next is Memoirs of a Dragon. This is an exploration mode where Kiryu can reconnect with his past adventures by revisiting familiar locations in Kamurocho and Isezaki Ijincho. The memoirs will no doubt be a nostalgic one for many long-time series fans as it will feature revisiting iconic places from the series, and it will also spur on Kiryu’s reawakening.

Unfinished Business

Finally, Unfinished Business is a collection of loose ends that Kiryu must tend to. These include eating at a restaurant, singing karaoke, or beating up some enemies. Completing them will increase Kiryu’s Awakening.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on January 26, 2024.
