Sonic Superstars PlayStation Plus Premium exclusive demo now available

After getting free Christmas DLC, Sonic Superstars got a free demo that’s now available to play exclusively for PlayStation Plus Premium members.

This demo allows PlayStation Plus Premium members to play the game for one-hour of either the PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 version of Sonic Superstars. As a bonus, players who buy the full game afterward will be able to carry on their save data from the demo.

Superstars is the latest entry in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and it features gameplay that’s a throwback to the Genesis/Mega Drive era. The game also features four player local co-op which is the first for the series, and it lets players play as Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles.

The game’s premise is described as:

“A new adventure begins for Sonic and his pals, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles, in the mysterious Northstar Islands, inhabited by gigantic creatures. With your newfound Emerald Powers, stop Dr. Eggman and Fang, who plan to use these creatures for their devious schemes!

This is the first title in the series to feature local multiplayer. Enjoy adventuring with up to four players in the story mode. The battle mode can be played online or offline. When online, you can participate in a variety of battles with up to eight players from around the world!

Whether you’re flying solo or playing with friends and family, enjoy Sonic Superstars to the max!”

Sonic Superstars is now available on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
