Tower of Fantasy x Evangelion collab: New details revealed
Here's what you can expect at the upcoming Tower of Fantasy x Evangelion collab event.
After its initial teaser in late 2023, new details for the Tower of Fantasy x Evangelion collab have just been shared, and it promises to be an exciting event for EVA fans.
Titled “Evangelion Fantasy,” this collab will feature Shinji Ikari, Asuka Shikinami Langley, and Rei Ayanami in the Vera Sector, as they face off against Angels. During the event, players get simulacrums of Asuka Shikinami Langley and Rei Ayanami from the event banners.
Aside from Asuka and Rei, the Tower of Fantasy also recreates the Angels and EVA units in a 1:1 scale in-game, including EVA-00, EVA-01, and EVA-02. Plus, players can expect to see classic scenes from the anime re-enacted in the game, though specific details about these will only be discovered by the players during gameplay.
Plus, the collab also features Pen Pen as a smart servant. This character is the iconic Fiordland Penguin that serves as Misato’s pet.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is no stranger to collabs, be it games or merch. Thus, it’s not too surprising to see Tower of Fantasy team up with Evangelion for a crossover.
What’s interesting though is that this collab is highlighted for PlayStation. Thus, it’ll be interesting to see if this will be a PlayStation-only collab or if it will be available in the game’s other versions.
More details about the upcoming collab will be revealed soon. For now, it’s only confirmed that the event will happen in the first half of 2024.
Along with this, players can expect the Ver. 3.6 update which will launch on January 30. It will feature the new “Aquaville” map, the new Flame and Physical Attribute Simulacrum – Plotti, and more.
