ASUS ROG reveals 2024 Strix SCAR and G Series price and availability in the Philippines
ASUS ROG's new Strix gaming laptops have finally landed in the PH.
After showing off their new laptops at CES, ASUS ROG finally announced the price and availability of the new 2024 ROG Strix SCAR and G series in the Philippines.
The Strix series is generally seen as ROG’s mid-range lineup. But make no mistake, the latest Strix laptops pack impressive performance along with large displays that make them great partners for triple-A gaming.
To start, we have the ROG Strix SCAR 16 and 18. These laptops come with 16-inch and 18-inch displays, respectively, with both having 240Hz refresh rates.
As for performance, they promise lots of it as the SCAR 18 in the PH comes with an Intel i9-14900HZ with an RTX 4090 16GB GDDR6 GPU. Meanwhile, the SCAR 16 has the same processor but with an RTX 4080 12GB GDDR6. Both laptops come with large SSD storage and RAM. Plus, each purchase will come with bundled freebies.
Meanwhile, the Strix G series features more affordable price tags, all while still having good performance. To start, there’s the Strix G18 in Volt Green which comes with a large 18-inch screen with a 240Hz refresh rate screen, an i9-14900HX processor, and an RTX 4070 8GB GDDR6.
Then there’s the Strix G16 which come in two variants. Both versions come with 16″ WQXGA 240Hz displays with an i7-13650HX processor. One of the variants comes is powered by an RTX 4060 8GB GDDR64 while the other has a RTX 4050 6GB GDDR6 GPU.

These new Strix laptops will be available in ASUS & ROG Concept Stores and Multi-brand stores in February 2024. The laptops will also be available through the ROG Shopee Official Store and ASUS Lazada Official Store.
