PlayStation State of Play February 2024: All the big announcements

PlayStation held its first State of Play of 2024 today, February 1, and it featured lots of big trailers and exciting reveals. After all, it was an over 40-minute showcase so lots of titles got the spotlight.

In case you weren’t able to watch the stream, here are the biggest highlights of the February 2024 PlayStation State of Play!

Death Stranding 2 On The Beach

One of the biggest trailers of the stream is no doubt Death Stranding 2 On the Beach. Aside from finally confirming the game’s title, the trailer is also incredibly wild — it’s a Hideo Kojima game after all.

New Kojima “Action-Espionage Game”

If Death Stranding 2 wasn’t enough for Kojima fans, there’s also the brand-new “Action-Espionage Game” from Kojima. Not a lot of details were revealed, aside from the fact that it will partly be a movie (kind of like OD). Nevertheless, Kojima helming am espionage game means he’s returning to his roots which is no doubt an exciting development.

Rise of the Ronin

Another highlight of the stream is Rise of the Ronin, the next game by Team Ninja. This new trailer shows off more incredibly bloody gameplay.

Silent Hill 2

Another game to watch out for is Silent Hill 2, the remake of the horror classic. While it was announced previously, this new trailer finally shows off gameplay footage.
